National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)

  NAAC stands for the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It is an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India to assess and accredit institutions of higher education in the country. NAAC evaluates universities, colleges, and other higher educational institutions based on various parameters such as infrastructure, teaching and learning processes, research, governance, student services, and more. Accreditation by NAAC helps institutions in benchmarking their performance, improving quality, and promoting excellence in higher education.
